Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce

Really easy to make - other than pasta and parm cheese, it's only got five ingredients. Delish!

  • Cook Time :
    20 min
  • Ready Time :
    20 min

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic,chopped
  • 3-4 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 4 cans chopped/minced clams
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • grated parmesan cheese

Open cans of clams, but leave top on. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add oil. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes – be careful, don’t cook too long or it gets bitter. Add parley and stir. Take each can of clams and press down on opened top to “squeeze” clam juice out of can into pan. Turn heat down to low, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add clams. Cook for one more minute. Add cooked spaghetti to clam sauce, toss, season to taste with salt and serve. Great with parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.
