Rice Pudding

You will not believe how easy and yummy this rice pudding recipe is to make. It sounds a little weird and it makes alot of rice pudding, but it really is delicious. I love rice pudding and do not believe in raisins in the dish, but you could certainly add them if you like (you might want to soak them for a hour or so in cold water). 1 cup rice (not instant) 1 pint Haagen Daz vanilla ice cream 2 quarts milk (yep, half a gallon) 3 eggs 1.5 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla Bring the first three ingredients to a full rolling boil, cover, lower heat slightly and cook for 20-25 minutes until rice is done. Here’s a delicious and easy way to prepare beef burgundy. While some foodies may be appalled by the use of dry and canned soups, it really turns out well and is great over rice or egg noodles. Please give it a try before you judge! 4 pounds stew meat 2 envelopes dry onion soup mix 2 cups Gallo Hearty Burgundy 2-3 tablespoons minced garlic Combine all ingredients. Bake in large pan/casserole 3-4 hours, covered, at 325 degrees. It really needs 4 hours – if you take a peek at 3 hours, it will still not look nearly done. Joan’s Hot Dogs

This is a unique and delicious way of preparing jazzed-up hot dogs. It is great for big groups while watching a sporting event on TV or as something a little different for a pot luck. They really are delicious. I like a little bit of hot sauce on top! 1 pound hot dogs 3 hard-boiled eggs 3/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese 3 tablespoons chopped onion 1/4 cup chili sauce 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1/3 cup chopped green olives 24 hot dog rolls Chop hot dogs and hard-boiled eggs.
